Inn wins top UK award

The Inn last night won the UK's top music award 2009 (publican). We became the 2009 best venue in the UK.
Considering we are one of the UK's smallest venues that only takes 50 people per concert its fantastic.
David Mundell of Mundell music commented on the award saying that its amazing being able to match the quality of Music to a quality venue, that is known not only for its music but quality of food and service.
This award comes on the back of the Inn being awarded 2 rosettes by the AA for the 12 year running and VisitScotland awarding the Inn Its gold award for service.

Snow in Fife

Its been snowing here of late just when we thought we had missed it all but the roads are all clear and Dick is sold out over valentines night tomorrow. Its fun to be doing something different for Valentines, Mothers day and Easter this year.

We have some great bands for all three of these occasions as well as some fantasist great value for money meal options. You should have a look at them and treat the family or the other half.
Hope to see you soon

One of the greats from Woodstock

Henry McCulloch has a suite at the Inn with some great memorabilia in it. One reference he made about Woodstock was "I was there but never remembered it." These days the man is playing great gigs all over the world and is doing two nights at the Inn. He has played with so many great artist that there are to many to mention. We only need Paul to turn up for the night at the Inn when Denny and Henry are about and we would have the main part of Wings all but the late great Linda.

Fifestock is filling up

The Rats are starting to Rock!!!!!
Even with all the mass hype about the Credit Crunch we are starting to fill up. We need to make this a great festival and have arranged interviews with Henry McCulloch and Denny Laine being interviewed on Radio and loads of other starts chatting to Newspapers all over Scotland. If you need a good night out then come and see these guys. John Jorgenson has just picked up a Grammy and you have a chance to listen to him either at the Inn or at the Fairmont Hotel's club house.
Denny is a world tour- he is amazing when he starts telling the stories about his time in the Moody Blues and Wings with Paul McCartney particularly get him to tell the one about how he came to write Mull of Kintyre. To book a gig click here

Fife stock shirts are just in

We have just received the shirts for Fifestock- all the staff are in them, we are selling them for £14 plus postage and packing and some great mugs for £5.95 +P/P. We were to late to take John Martyn off all the promotional gear (and quite frankly I'm pleased that we are able to say good bye to such a great man in this way) David has some great T shirts as well, he has some fun ones taking a swipe at bass guitarist and a few others. You should check out the Mundell music web site for shopping on line. Fifestock memorabilia will be on there shortly along with one sovereign programme signed by every artist. This we are going to put on e-bay and sell to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to John's favorite charity

Recording and video of Fifestock

James Bisset came in today to chat about Adam Smith College in Kirkcaldy Fife going to record some of Fifestock for us this year. Adam Smith have their own TV and Radio station within the College.
David Mundell is going to help with some of the acts being interviewed while at The Inn at Lathones near St Andrews. Lets hope Davids in good health on the night!! we know all about being all right on the night, just ask Henry McCullough about being at Woodstock and when asked he replied "I can't remember" Lets hope he enjoys being in Scotland, its not quite his home coming but fairly close
